On March 31, 2017, the senior Biomedical Engineering majors presented their Senior Projects at the Northeast Regional Bioengineering Conference Design Competition held at NJIT.
TCNJ’s Venous Stent Team advised by Dr. Wagner and comprised of team leader Lauren Biernacki, Emily DiMartini, Alexa Magnotta and Caroline Wood won 3rd place overall in the NEBEC Design Competition out of nearly 80 entries from institutions throughout the Northeast.
The competition considers device need, functional and user requirements, design quality, innovation, device testing, and commercialization pathway. The award came with a $100 visa gift card.
