In October, Thirteen junior and senior BME students joined Dr. Wagner and Dr. Lau at the National Biomedical Engineering Society meeting in Minneapolis, MN. The following students attended the event; Aakhila Rameeza, Alexander Borg, Amulya Veldanda, Danielle Howe, Philip Binaco, Chris Gearhart, Deyberkis Arias, Dale Johnson, Steven Ayala, Caroline Wood, Emily DiMartini, Paige Stroh and Lauren Biernacki.
Over the three day event from October 5th to the 8th, students presented research conducted during the prior semester at TCNJ and during the summer. Most students were mentored by Dr. BuSha, Dr. Wei, or Dr. Lau as part of TCNJ’s MUSE program and independent research activities. Two of the studies presented were conducted by TCNJ students while participating with the RiSE REU program at Rutgers University during summer 2016.
